Hi, I’m Mattias. I’ve been a passionate photographer since 2005 and an avid surfer and skateboarder for over 40 years. My work focuses on capturing motion, light, and authentic outdoor moments — from surf and sports to coastal landscapes and motorsport environments. Salt & Light reflects both my love for the coast and a deeper commitment to living with purpose, integrity, and clarity in my work. Traveling to the mountains of North Carolina to the Outer Banks and beyond, I document real moments where adventure and environment intersect. Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, I provide professional surf, event, and outdoor photography throughout the region and beyond.
